Description of project:

In connection with the development of the Baltica 02 Wind Farm located approximately 26 km off the Polish coast (North of Leba), it is planned to construct four substations refer to as: OSS-01, OSS-02, OSS-03 and OSS-4. Each substation will be constructed as a topside structure housing transformers and all electrical equipment and the topside will be supported by a monopile foundation high enough to keep the topside above the largest occurring wave crests. The monopile foundation is split into a pile embedded in the seabed and a module support frame (MSF) bolted to the top of the pile. MSF is a frame structure that provides a support for the topside and transfers all load from the topside onto the monopile (MP).

Sao Vang E&C is subcontractor of PTSC/PTSC SB. Sao Vang E&C’s scope is fabricated 04 MSF (Total 1,700 tons); Performed all Miscellaneous structure item of 04 OSS (370 tons) and Performed fabrication & installation Grillage/Sea fastening for 04 MSF and 04 OSS.(600 tons)
